Introduction & Context

When your vendor sets up Versapay for billing/invoicing, they will send you an invitation email to join the Versapay portal. Through that portal, you will be able to view and pay invoices, manage contact details, and more.

If you didn’t receive an invite, or if it doesn’t land in your inbox, see the “Troubleshooting” section below.

Step 1: Check for the Invitation Email

  • Look for an email from Versapay or from your vendor containing a subject like “You’ve been invited to Versapay” or “Welcome to your Versapay portal.”

  • Check your spam/junk, promotions, or clutter folder, in case filters diverted it.

  • Confirm with your vendor that they sent it to the correct email address.

  • Typically, these emails come from a no-reply Versapay address.

💡 Tip: Ask your vendor to resend the invite if your email changed, or if you weren’t the primary contact listed in their system.

Step 2: Open the Invitation & Click the Activation Link

  • In the invitation email, click on the provided activation link.

  • That link will take you to a registration page where you’ll set up your Versapay account.

Step 3: Complete the Registration Form

On the registration page, you’ll be asked to provide the following:

  • Your name

  • Your password (and confirmation)

  • Security questions or other verification (if required)

  • Possibly additional details as required by the vendor or Versapay

  • Your business email address, which will become your username.

Once the form is complete, click “Submit” or “Activate Account” (or similarly worded button).

Step 4: Log Into Your New Versapay Account

After activation:

  1. Go to the Versapay login page (e.g. secure.versapay.com).

  2. Enter your registered email and password.

  3. Optionally, you might be prompted to set security questions or additional authentication steps.

  4. After signing in, you’ll land in your portal, where you can view invoices, make payments, etc.

Tips for a Smooth Setup

  • Tell your vendor who the primary contact is at your company so they use the correct email.

  • Use a strong, unique password and store it securely.

  • If possible, keep your mobile phone or email open in case Versapay sends a verification code or follow-up email.
